The Aninga was introduced to us as a Prehistoric bird due to it having dense bones, not having oil to protect its wings from the water (thus it having to dry off at the tops of trees), and its method of fishing which involves spearing the fish then bring it ashore to get it off its beak with a rock or tree before it can eat.
